  1. Tālofa Lava Elina,

Thank you for sharing about your culture and where your family comes from. The poster you have created is superb, I can tell you put a lot of effort into your work. My family and I are also from Samoa, in Samoan we belong to the village name Leulumoega which is on the island Upolu. Do you know what village your family is from?

Just like you, church is very important to myself and my family too. We attend a church named Life Church which is out in South Auckland, Manukau. What is your favourite thing about your Samoan culture? My favourite thing would definitely have to be the food. I love Taro and Chop Suey, what's your favourite Samoan dish?

Remember that when you use photos from the internet, you have to attribute the image - this just means copy the link from where you found the image and put it next to the image on the poster, so we can see exactly where you found it :)

    Blog ya later, Tofā

  2. Ata Mārie Elina, how is your day going so far?

This is an excellent post, I really enjoyed reading about where you and your family come from, what is important or special to you and your family, and what languages you speak. The image you’ve added too is stunning and makes your post more eye-catching and interesting! I visited Samoa in 2012 with my mum and we had a really good time swimming and snorkelling in the beautiful clear blue water! Do you visit Samoa much? What is your favourite Samoan food? Mine is panikeke, yum!

I’ve noticed that you haven’t been active in a while, and we really enjoyed reading your posts when you were active. I thought I would just jump on your blog and give you a gentle reminder that the Summer Learning Journey finishes next Friday (24th January) so you have until then to do as many activities as you can. Remember that the more activities you do, the more points you gain and the higher the chance of you winning some really cool prizes!

Happy blogging, I look forward to reading more of your posts :)
    Eliza.
